Toms shoes? They're the Argentinian style espadrilles that got so much attention because for every pair sold, the company donates a pair of new shoes to a child in need. Well Toms now makes these crazy wrap boots that seem to be inspired by Ace bandages. They're basically the same as the regular espadrilles, with a long piece of elastic wrap that extends from the ankle. You use that long piece to wrap your legs up however you want - it's held in place with multiple (included) Velcro fasteners. At least this way you don't have to worry if your calves are too big or too small for the boots.]]>

Our friends' 9 year-old son and 6 year-old daughter are obsessed with them. Each toy is the size of a golf ball or large marble when closed. Inside is a magnet, so when you touch the Bakugan to metal, it springs open into an action figure, sort of like a Transformer (but with a lot less work). The toys are used with magnetized cards, which somehow help you keep score in a game understandable only to kids. The best part is, if you accidentally give kids Bakugan they already own, they can trade them with their friends for different characters or colors. More holiday gifts for kids.]]>
