We'd love to have whiter teeth, but we don't have the discipline to apply Crest Whitestrips every night, and we don't have the cash for a professional whitening job. So we're curious about the $40 Luster 1-hour home tooth whitening kit. The company claims your teeth will get up to 6 shades whiter in just 1 hour. First you have to use the included mouth rinse for 10 seconds. Then you put the (safe-on-your-enamel) whitening gel on your teeth and aim the battery-operated "whitening light" at your teeth for 2 minutes at a time. It sounds a bit tedious, but worth it if it works. If you've tried it, let us know what you think, in the comments section.
