Built NY Laptop Cases

March 19, 2008
What's the point of having an ultraportable laptop if you carry it around in a bulky, heavy bag? Built NY, the people who made those cool wine bottle totes, makes laptop bags out of the same neoprene they use for coral reef divers' wetsuits. The stuff is only 5mm thick but it's soft, sturdy, shock- and water-resistant, and protects your laptop from bumps and bruises. Built NY even made their laptop bags attractive, with lots of colors and patterns to choose from. And when you're not using the bags, they flatten down to almost nothing in your suitcase. Added bonus: Neoprene is a lot more affordable than leather.
