- Pros: 50xzoom,OIS,hard drive.
- Cons: Shocking picture when played back.
- The Bottom Line: When played back on 3 seperate tvs the picture quality is shocking.Very disappointed with this camcorder and i have reverted to using my previous camcorder (NV-GS35) with mini dv tapes, optical zoom only 30x but picture quality is far superior.

- Pros: Optical image stabilization. 50x optical zoom. Easy to use software.
- Cons: Not HD. Little bit of audio noise.
- The Bottom Line: I love this camcorder. Some reviews from the internet say that the software is horrible. I was a little bit worried, but when I got it, I have no idea why they said so. I have two computers, one running windows xp professional with sp3. The other running windows vista ultimate with sp1. On both systems, I installed the software using standard procedures. Restarted, and the camcorder is recognized as an external hard driver. I can't imagine anything easier than this... Optical image stabilization is definitely a big plus for this camcorder. No more shaky videos. The result looks just like from a professional. 50x optical zoom works great. It is not HD, but for the price, I can't complain. The only downside I feel is the lack of an external microphone input. The recorded videos has a little bit of audio noise, but the audio noise is still less than those with MiniDV or DVD. I would recommend this camcorder.

- Pros: Camcorder is veritile.Excellent camera, excellent quality
- Cons: No weaknesses that I know of.
- The Bottom Line: Plenty of hard drive space, very easy to use controls, simple-to-the-point shooting with plenty of zoom. Plus this has the SD card option along with the HDD which is where many of the new camcorders are moving. Nice to have both in one camera and we switch from our still camera to the camcorder with the same card.
