- Pros: Sony's 610 DVD Camcorder is a decent one for the price. It's very easy to use, pretty much just plug and play. It has great features, including the nightshot. It's also a comfortable size to hold.
- Cons: On automode, the camcorder has a hard time focusing and can be very blurry at times. Good lighting is required for a good video, for the most part. The user guide is also a little lengthy.
- The Bottom Line: This handycam is pretty good quality. It feels as though it is created with quality materials and of course has a great name behind it. When recording my 1 yr. old son, the camera attempts to correct the blur and tries to focus, but stays very blurry at times due to motion from my "can't stand still" son. We also rarely keep a lot of lights on at home, and I've noticed the camcorder really picks up on the lack of light. The picture quality is dull and it doesn't adjust well to darker or dimmer environments. But, overall, it's a great camera, and very easy to use.

- Pros: It is economical to make a DVD disc by using the small 8CM DVD+RW discs and then copy to computer hard drive, then copy a regular DVD disc from the computer.
- Cons: If you are using the camcorder for a rather long time, you should have a spare battery.
- The Bottom Line: The camcorder is very easy to use, and is light in weight whereas you do not get tired of holding it. It fits in your hand very nicely. It is very well built and durable,and like any product with the SONY name should last a very long time since it is built with high quality components.

- The Bottom Line: This is a great camcorder. It's affordable, produces good video quality, NEAT nightshot mode, and zooms in very far.There are no cons, it's just a great camcorder.With every Sony product that I buy my satisfaction of their quality gets better and better. Their quality is really unbeatable. Their products are usually slightly more expensive than other brands, but trust me it's worth it. (my Sony tv is almost 10 years old and works like it's brand new, it's held up fantastically)

- Pros: Night shot is great. Very small and easy to use. Dual hybrid technology.
- Cons: Battery needs a longer duration for continuous operation.
- The Bottom Line: This camera is light and very easy to use once you charge the battery your up and running. Dual hybrid technology allows you to record onto DVD or use memory stick. The wide touch screen offers ease to select various operations and editing of content. The widescreen display offers better viewing than using the view finder especially for those you are sight impaired. Overall a great camera for the beginner and fairly inexpensive.
